The ultimate experience is to personally see your ancestral town. European Focus Private Tours might be exactly what you've been looking for all of these years. I offer private research tours of all lengths and types in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, eastern France (Alsace), England and Ireland.

Experience everyday life in your ancestral town without the hustle and the rush-rush-rush associated with those big bus tours. Besides, the bus tours probably dont' go anywhere near your ancestral village. I'll take you right to your ancestral town and I'll arrange everything in advance so that your visit is worthwhile and memorable. This includes:
  • Consultation and help from local experts. These are the people who exist in nearly every small town and village who know about the history and background of your ancestral town.
  • Help in deciphering difficult to read records from local experts, church officials and others. All of these arrangements are made well in advance of our showing up at the church office or archive.
Professional photography of all that we see and do is available. For a small added charge, James shoots with both digital still and video cameras and creates a DVD of your tour that you can enjoy again and again.
