PROJECTS IN POLAND
"WOW ... and in case you missed it, wow, wow and wow! I expected professional workmanship, but the quality of the album and layout went way beyond my expectations. You have really created an heirloom for us, Jim, and I am sure it will be enjoyed for generations to come. The travel notes were much more valuable than I anticipated or expected, and really add to the enjoyment of our album. Your knowledge and experience show through in the quality and details you provide. Thank you again for such an important piece of our family puzzle."
Denise P.
Cornelius, NC

"The package arrived yesterday and I was absolutely overwhelmed. The photos are terrific. (I loved the stork and the account of your attempts to photograph it) That poor, ramshackle little village in Poland really pulls at my heartstrings, probably just because of the condition it's in but your photos brought a kind of beauty to it. They were exactly what I would take if I were a photographer. One of my favorite Homburg photos was the one of the crooked roof - my great-grandfather before he left was a roofer..."

PRIVATE TOUR PORTFOLIO REACTIONS
"I am so overwhelmed with not only your selection of pictures for my portfolio, but the beautiful and complete presentation...

"From reading the diary it is quite obvious that you have a fantastic memory and spent many hours typing up each pathway, village and city we toured leaving no stone unturned...

"Jim, your expertise in all areas of touring, documentation, organization and photography are outstanding. These two albums will be shared with family this June in Maryland and I can hardIy wait to see their expressions and hear their comments."
Jane M.
Indianapolis, IN

"The portfolios are fantastic. We are very pleased. Kathy took many nice pictures, but can't compare to yours as we knew would be the case. The color is the best I have seen anywhere and the artistry of your work is unbeatable. All are excellent, but my favorites are the Schönfels church - wasn't that something. Thank you for such nice memories."

Indialantic, FL

"I can’t thank you enough for the wonderful trip. For all that you did for me to make this such a memorable visit to Germany. And the albums and pictures are just beautiful, so many happy memories. You do such a good job with the pictures and the trip narrative. I am thrilled."

PROJECTS IN ITALY
"Well the moment I have waited a year for has finally arrived...I sat at my kitchen table, and unwrapped the bubble paper from around the book and just sat there for a long time, smoothing my hands over the top of it and I found my eyes filling with tears even before I opened the front cover...and when I finally did, I was overjoyed at the pictures I saw and the words I read. Jim, you did an excellent job with this project and I am so completely thrilled with it and can't WAIT to bring it with me over the Christmas holiday to show my family. I just know they will all be so very touched by what you have given us ...this wonderful Christmas Present! ...I loved the photo of the old mural and how it related to the houses that belonged to my ancestors. I was also so pleasently surprised to see the photo of the newly restored statue in the church and how the money to do this was lovingly donated by residents of Stamford CT. This is very pertinent to me because Stamford CT is where I was born and raised and is a so where all my ancestors from San Mango (sul Calore) eventually settled!

"...I just want you to know that I am completely satisfied with the wonderful hard word you did for me and thei project and I will definitely recommend you and your services to all the people I have contact with on my Italian Genealogy mailing list (P.I.E). Thank you so much Jim...it was a job VERY WELL DONE!" A.Longo

"The package arrived safely...I could not wait to open it and was rewarded with stunning photos of the two villages! Your narrative was quite interesting as well as humorous. It is always nice to have confirmation of my weather observations - which you did confirm on your first day in Verciano! The church at Sorbanello (Guidice del Sorbano) is stunning. I am so pleased that you had the opportunity to go inside. I am going to need time to digest all that you have presented. I know that there will be some photos that I will want to order from you, but making the proper choices is going to be a challenge...! They (the photos) are beautifully crisp and clear. And the colors are just amazing."

Photographer's note: Mr. Costa commissioned me to photograph the two villages named above following his own personal visit in March of 1992. He encountered the typical pitfalls of the tourist, bad weather and a lack of film! He also had a lack of time. I did a thorough job for him this time.

"I want to thank you for the Caivano portfolio which you prepared as requested by my daughter, to give to me as a Christmas gift from the family. My eyes teared and a lump came to my throat as I first read the letter you sent, then the text and as I viewed the pictures. It is a beautiful piece of work and one which I'll cherish forever. It was wonderful to see the the church where my grandparents were married and where my father and his brothers and sister were baptized. I never would have believed that such a beautiful church could exist in such a small town.

"As a member of the local chapter of POINTERs here in Phoenix, I'll have something to proudly show at the next meeting. Again, thank you for providing such a memorable keepsake."

PROJECT IN GERMANY
"WOW !!!! WOW !!! WOW!!!

"Lynea & I spent most of the afternoon looking at the photographs. I was expecting high quality, but you floored me will an entire book of A+ photos! You delivered and then some! Of all, the one photo that meant the most was the gravestone of my great-grandfather's sister in the Niederkirchen cemetery. I knew something about my great-grandfather's sister and to see her stone and that of her family ..... . I assume the stone is a new one.... the quality, the care, the thought that went into this is really great. I'll talk to you later ... got lots to rave about!"
David R.

Short Comments from Genealogy Enthusiasts
"I am so glad I found your services on the web and went with it - your photos are superb and the effort you put into their production really shows a high level of caring for your customers."
Jim M.
Anchorage, AK
Jim also ordered a duplicate portfolio as a gift for his father

"The result of all my deliberation was the realization that with my husband’s retirement on the horizon, our chances of a European vacation were getting slimmer each day. And of course, we would soon be grandparents and I wanted to leave a meaningful legacy for my grandchildren. So Jim, I made one of the best decisions of my life. I can’t thank you enough for giving me the gift of a piece of my heritage."
Louise R.
Chicago

"This service has saved me from making a long and expensive journey. Short of having been there myself, your photos and narrative are the next best thing. Thank you, my curiosity is satisfied, and very nicely too!"
Laura C.
Naperville, IL

"The photos are truly world class and have added to my ability to explain our Thüringian and Bavarian family roots to those family members who have only a passing interest in genealogy."
Mel W.
Albany, NY

"This has really inspired me to finish the family history and illustrate it with your beautiful pictures..." Regina E.
Ocean Springs, MS

"We all sat around my mother as she turned the pages and watched her eyes get wider and wider. It was great when she saw the house where her great-grandfather was born."
Amy G.
Orlando, FL

"I received your package yesterday. Thank you so much. What a beautiful presentation you put together. I am looking forward to giving this to my aunt when I go to Chicago in March."
