European Focus is a customized professional photography service operated by the
creator of this service, James Derheim. European
Focus doesn’t just sell photos out of an archive. Instead, this is a much more personal service dedicated to bringing individuals
closer to their ancestral roots in Europe.
Skip all of this and go right to Fees (but for first time visitors, you should read on).
Starting fee
You can have your ancestral town preserved on film for you and your family and the coming generations by professional photographer
James Derheim for a fee that is affordable for anyone. Your project cost may be helped if I have already done work in that town
for another genealogist because I can add photos already in my archives with new ones taken to fit your personal research needs.
Delivery
Currently taking projects in 2007 for delivery in early 2008. My project
calendar fills quickly, so please contact me today if you are interested.
Your privacy is guaranteed
I don’t share your information with other companies and you’re never part of a mailing list.
Some European Focus clients have volunteered to be points of contact in case you want a referral.
Archived Towns
Even though I maintain a massive and expanding archive of more than 80,000 images from many towns all over Europe, I do not sell
photographs to people who are unrelated to my original client, and I hope you understand the reasons why. You can find out
more on my FAQ page.
Payment made easy
About 1/3 of the cost for your project is requested 30 days in advance of my departure for Europe (usually in early April).
You pay the balance after you receive your project (several months later, after I return from Europe). The first
projects will be delivered in early January following my return. You can make a small downpayment
now, and then have until winter or early spring to pay the rest (depending on delivery). Projects
must be paid for within 10 days of delivery.)
For your added convenience, you can use your Visa, Discover, AMEX or MasterCard to book your project
and pay for it when it's done. Payment by personal check also accepted.
How to get started
Just click on the link at right to take you to the country of your ancestry. You'll find a form there to help you request a
proposal for your own project. Remember, European Focus never, shares private information to outside companies. |
